Are your Australian Shepherds registered?
Yes. They are registered with the American Kennel Club AKC.

How big do your Aussies get?
Our Small Standard Aussies are 15-18″ tall and weigh 28- 45 lbs. Although this doesn't 100% guarantee a smaller sized Aussie as genetics vary between the pups

Where are you located?
We are located in East Brunswick , New Jersey catering our Aussie puppies mostly to New York City, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island , Jersey City, Hoboken areas as we would love for them to be near us! But we are opened to giving a puppy a loving home anywhere in the states or even Europe. 

What are your prices?
 Our merle puppies are $3,000  Tri color and bi color $2,500 Eye color, gender and size do not affect the pricing.

Do I need to make a deposit to reserve an available puppy or get on a reservation list?
Yes. The deposit is $500 and will be applied to your puppy. 

Do you have a  reservation list for future puppies?
Yes we do.  To be placed on our reservation for a future puppy we require a $500 deposit and this will go towards the price of the puppy. *The deposit is non-refundable . Please call us for more information.

If I  want to add my name to your reservation list, what are the next steps?
Please call, email or text us and we will go over more details with you, find out what you are looking for exactly and you then can decide if we are a good fit for you as a breeder and you are a good fit for one of our puppies.

If you decide to move forward these are the next steps below:
1. We will send an invoice via email for your deposit and our reservation agreement via email
2. You will send the $500 deposit and we will then add you to our reservation list.
3. We will contact you after a litter is born, when it’s your turn to choose a puppy.
4. If you decide to pass on a puppy, you will keep your place in line on our list for the next litter.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We prefer to use our  good dog website ( https://www.gooddog.com/breeders/caramel-bliss-kennel-east-coast-aussies-new-jersey) Zelle  and ApplePay or Cash (Completed cash payment at 6 weeks when you personally come to the puppy meet-up) There will be a 3% processing fee added if using Credit/debit card. 

Do you offer payment plans?
We offer one 3rd party option. We recommend using Paypal Credit . Pay it off with monthly payments that fit your budget. Starting at 0%. Apply for Paypal credit.

Can we visit to pick out a puppy or come and visit our puppy we have already purchased?
You can come and visit your puppy once they are 4-6 weeks old . This will be done in our home and not around all the other dogs. There will be a  minimum 30 minute + visit depending on availability and weather . A maximum of 4 people can come visit the puppy. We ask that you wash your hands and not be exposed to the other pets prior to visiting, as well as  have throughly cleaned your shoes prior to visiting . (shoe covers will be provided in the play meet- up area) 

When is my puppy ready to come home?
Your puppy is ready for their new homes at 8-10 weeks old.

How do I pick up my puppy when they are 8 weeks old?
You have 3 options:
1. You can come here to pick up your puppy at Caramel Bliss Kennels
2. You can fly in to Newark/JFK/LaGuardia airports and we will meet you curbside and puppy will fly in cabin home with you. (*ask for more details)
3.We will drive to New York City and surrounding areas to meet you for a pick up.
4. We do have a puppy nanny that works with as well. She charges $200 + cost of a plane ticket and the $100 puppy ticket.

Do your puppies have a health guarantee, what does that mean?
Yes. We offer a 12 month health guarantee. It means we guarantee your puppy to be free of genetic defects until the puppy reaches 1 year of age. For this to be valid, you must take your new puppy to your vet 48 hours after you receive your puppy and set up future care. The puppy will have received it’s 8 week vaccinations and worming. You will be responsible for their 12 week and 16 week vaccinations which will include a rabies vaccination. Your puppy will also need a 12 month booster. Please see our contract for more details.

Your puppy comes with a Puppy Starter Kit, what is that?
Your puppy starter kit includes:

– A health certificate signed by our vet stating that your puppy is healthy and up-to-date on all vaccines including deworming medications.
– A past and future vaccination and medication schedule for your vet

– Sire and Dam Genetic Health Certificate from Embark
– Their puppy blanket and favorite toy that smells like home
– Puppy food for 5 days

– AKC ReUnite prepaid microchip with lifetime activation and tag included
– AKC registration and information from AKC– You will be sent to our welcome page with much more information on how to prepare for your new puppy and what we recommend you get in preparation for their arrival!

Can I breed my puppy when they are older?
We are currently not offering breeding rights/full registration for the time being.  All puppies will be sold with limited registration. 

Do you dock the tails or are they naturally bobbed?
NO, we keep tails 

Do any of your dogs have  testing done? If so, what?
Yes, all of our dogs are genetically tested and you can see their results listed under each adult. Once you purchase you pup the canine genetic health certificates of both sire and dam will be provided as mentioned in the starter kit
